Introduction to Fencing, ages 8-14

Introduction to fencing offers an introduction to the sport of fencing. Students will be introduced to the three different weapons in fencing; foil, epee and sabre. This class is intended for children who are interested in fencing and have not fenced before.

Cost $100 plus US Fencing membership.

Youth Fencing, ages 5-8

Youth Fencing offers a fun start to fencing for our future champions. Students will be introduced to the sport of fencing and play games that teach the basics of fencing. This class is intended for children 5-8 who are interested in fencing. This class may be repeated until the student is ready to move on to older classes.

Cost $100 plus US Fencing membership

Saturday 9:00 – 10:00 am Starts 9/13

Children’s Epee, ages 8-14

Children’s Epee teaches the basics of epee fencing. This class is intended for students who have taken introduction to fencing or a recreational class and have an interest in continuing to learn about epee fencing.

Cost $150 plus US Fencing Membership

Tuesday 5:30 - 6:30 pm Starts 9/9

Children’s Intermediate Sabre, ages 8-14

Intermediate sabre continues to teach the technique and tactics of sabre fencing with an increased emphasis on footwork and booting. This class is recommended for children who have completed the introductory sabre class. Students may enroll in this class after introduction to fencing with the approval of the instructor.

Cost $150 plus US Fencing Membership

Thursday 5:00 – 6:00 pm Starts 9/11

All classes run for 8 weeks.

Training Classes

Epee Training Class
        David will be offering an epee class for epee fencers of all ability levels and ages. The class will include conditioning, footwork, drill work and tactical bouting.
        Cost - $10 per class for PdF members, $20 for non PdF members.

Sabre Training Class
        Ariana will be offering a sabre class for sabre fencers of all ability levels and ages. The class will include conditioning, footwork, drill work and tactical bouting.
        Cost $10 per class for PdF members, $20 for non PdF members.

Foil Training Class
        David will be offering a foil class for foil fencers of all ability levels and ages. The class will include conditioning, footwork, drill work and tactical bouting.
      Cost $10 per class for PdF members, $20 for non PdF members.
                        Saturday                2:00 – 4:00 pm       Every week

Home School Classes

Classes for home school children can be scheduled most days. Minimum
class size of 4. Call for cost and availability.
